Wow always liked the study of Earth .. My forte was English I had a aunt who was very smart a English teacher by trade I was reding writing and math at 3 because of her .. Grandma we were in Wisconsin. She had iron will schooling me at home with pop quiz style.
She raised me till I was 8 and the family moved to Western Washington ..

It is so smoky today! I'm at my son's and the smoke is super thick. Our place is 3.5 hours away and my husband said that it's the same there, you can see the smoke hanging in the yard & absolutely no wind! We love the days when we don't have wind, but not when there is smoke involved! The whole state is under a smoke siege!

They have said now we should have clean air after the weekend rain is suppose to be here all week help with fires and smoke ...
now I hope that is all the state not just Western

That's great news for you! We have a very small chance of rain Monday-Wednesday, so I'm not really expecting any!

Good morning all! How is everyone doing with the smoke? It's still pretty bad at our place! I snapped a picture of my rooster...his tail feather cracks me up and I noticed that you can see the smoke hanging the the garden behind him...I will be so glad when the fires have been put out...they've been so devastating! Stay safe!

We got enough rain last night to just wet the table outside, but not enough to fully wet the cement outside the door. Any is good, but that was teasing.
