Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

They all want a piece of that .. The feed I use is 16% as the boys get it also offer oyster .. dry cat food if molting and oatmeal .. mealworms and garden treats

That hen up front middle of my picture is 10 years old in a couple weeks. She will march right into the house and look for the cat or dog food herself. She's very pushy.

The others know I toss out older leftovers to them as well as the leftover bread each week. Catfood is usually given when we're trying to leave in the truck. Distract them since they will surround us otherwise.

We own safety wire pliers since we're both ex-Navy aviation and hubby still works in aviation. Those twist wire up nice and evenly as well as fast.

Actually we have quite a few of his older, almost worn out, tools laying around. Mom wanted to steal the cannon plug pliers because the jaws are soft and good for removing things you don't want damaged at all.

Zip ties work so well for everything though. And so easy.

I save the baling twine off the straw as well. It gets reused here. Back when baling wire was used, we always had some around. If not we could go grab some out of the old baler that grandma used for hay.
Sometimes I really miss baling wire! Sometimes...:gig
