Hey all! Originally from Louisiana, but moved to Seattle about 6 years ago. Just bought a townhouse with a very small garden, and am doing research to determine what poultry would be best (chickens, ducks, or quail)!

The weather has really been fantastic today, and is supposed to continue this week. The garden and flowers are loving it!

I'm picking a last batch of cottonwood buds to start a new jar. I sent just over a pound to one of my Mom's friends since she has no trees and really likes the salve from it.

I've about got hubby on board with me planting a bunch of twig starts out in the field. I can start some each year. I like the buds off saplings best. Then there is the fact they sell for about $90 a pound. I could do that.
