We've had two nights in a row listening to people set off huge fireworks. It's not legal here, and I'm really tired of it. I'm sure it will be another few nights before they stop. Some people seem to just really need to blow stuff up. My dog hates it.

I don’t know if it’s actually legal to set them off or not where I am, but I think that a rule (in my area) was to not set them off until at least 9am on the fourth.

Listening to more fireworks right now going off. I’m so glad my dogs don’t get too wound up about fireworks, though the chickens might get scared.

Our little dog Pugsly just 6 months old has stopped barking at them. None so far this morning lots the last 2 nights but end at 10. Just us three me, better half adult Son here to help us till the end.
Not shooting any off as it is too dry here

My dog is beside himself, of course. He won't voluntarily leave his dark corner by the garage door until tomorrow morning, if not afternoon. We only require that he go out and pee. He won't drink more than a gulp or two (or poop) until it's all over

Though happy Fourth of July! I made brownies.. though my piping skills are lacking. (Half frosted because some people in my family like the frosting)

I'm so sick of the fireworks already. It's been three days now. Some people are just way too into them, like, what's that even about? I just had my dog on a leash in the yard to pee and some idiot sets off a bunch somewhere and he can't even finish peeing. The air reeks of explosives and it's just sitting over us. And we're at high fire danger, living on an island, on well water. I think part of it is people out on the water shooting them off, (definitely drunk) and not thinking at all about what happens to people who live here.

Looks great would love some but tomorrow ate too much tonight then we played corn hole in yard
