yeah, I need to get a good pic under her wings, its the only place her feathers are furry instead of feathery, lol.

I go just what I wanted kinda funny but 5 pullets in the banty coop 1 being a frizzle that os out of 15 silkie not bad did not have decide between pullets..
Morning all

Good morning! It’s raining steady here. I cleaned out chicken water buckets now they’re refilling under the downspouts. The rain is more bearable when I don’t have to mess with hoses.

We have a hose to both the small and the main coop fill buckets. Raining like the dickens here also..

I'll have a few bantam cochinXsilkie pullets availible around January or February if anyone would be interested. Normal feathered as silkie feathering is recessive.

That cochin boy matured very early. At around 10 weeks. The silkie cockerels from the same hatch have just started trying to crow and show no interest in hens at 24 weeks. Even the silkie/ameraucana mixes haven't tried to crow and are only 2 weeks younger.

I have the zizzle boy that has not learned crow or gurgle he will go to auction. Probably wait till after the first of the year as will have cockerel from the new hatch I am sure.
All can go to auction support my bad habbit here

I eat extra boys. Or Mom does now. She really likes chicken that tastes like the chicken she grew up eating.

The partridge cockerels have ladies juat waiting for them to grow up. They were the whole reason I'd ordered eggs.

Ma loved fresh birds but lost her maybe 4 years ago now? I am not up to butcher in the rain anymore

I have weird cats. Luke demanded I share the tortilla chips. He ate all I offered him.

This was 2 years ago when the other kitten (Lois) came with ringworm and gave it to this kitten, Clark, both dogs, and myself. Clark loved taking his pill with chunky peanut butter!

Luke does not like peanut butter. He bit off a piece of my peanut butter sandwich a week or so ago and then spit it out at me. He just takes food sometimes and gets what he deserves for stealing.
