yeah, I need to get a good pic under her wings, its the only place her feathers are furry instead of feathery, lol.
Finally remembered to get photos of under Shadow's wing. Looks and feels like cat fur.

I go just what I wanted kinda funny but 5 pullets in the banty coop 1 being a frizzle that os out of 15 silkie not bad did not have decide between pullets..
Morning all
Good morning! It’s raining steady here. I cleaned out chicken water buckets now they’re refilling under the downspouts. The rain is more bearable when I don’t have to mess with hoses. :p
 
I'll have a few bantam cochinXsilkie pullets availible around January or February if anyone would be interested. Normal feathered as silkie feathering is recessive.

That cochin boy matured very early. At around 10 weeks. The silkie cockerels from the same hatch have just started trying to crow and show no interest in hens at 24 weeks. Even the silkie/ameraucana mixes haven't tried to crow and are only 2 weeks younger.
