Fires are about 40 miles from here but smoke is real bad.
They are predicting till Monday.
Leaving Banty in will buy some air filters for them on their door. They will just have to stay in the coop a couple days.

Sorry it's so bad for you, but I'm not surprised. We are getting smoke and ash here in Toledo!!!!

We've had light amounts of ash coming down since early this morning, from the fire in Skykomish. We're mostly staying indoors, chickens are going to have to tough it out.

I did get the air filters on the banty coop. Worried about my older girls main coop not allot can be done in that coop.

Anyone interested in a couple 1/2 bantam cochin 1/4 silkie 1/4 ameraucana hens? They are a year old and weigh around 2 pounds. Bit flighty but they very successfully raised a batch of chicks fine this year. Not asking for anything for them. Figured I'd ask before culling.
