When I got out of bed this morning everything was wet outside, and it's been pretty much a constant heavy drizzle since then. Nice!!!

I went out and checked on my chickens, and they all seemed fine but the pullets wanted to get out of the run. Nope, not today.

I started integrating my new Marans roosters with the pullets yesterday. This morning they were close together on opposite sides of the mesh. They seem to be getting acquainted, and I hope some of the pullets' friendly personalities rubs off onto the cockerels.



The cockerels knocked over their feeder last night, so I need to go out and clean up the mess in a little while. I'm going to drill a couple of holes through the wall next to the feeder and secure it to the wall with a piece of wire so they can't overturn it again.

I took a walk in the rain inspecting the garden, which felt nice after being so dry for so long. My newly planted radish and turnip seeds are starting to sprout.

We picked up 10 dead tires to add to the garden. Came home hoodie over the t shirt
call me a woose.. just 54 here rain did fall not allot but a bit better than none.

Was lightly drizzly and cloudy until late afternoon on the east side south of Kennewick. Windy and sunny now.

Dogs are upset over the drive. Hermes got sick twice
