Hot weather is on the way. Luckily there'll be a little wind blowing during the hottest time of day. Need to freeze some water bottles to put in the chicken waterers.

homemade bread turned out great, picked another big bowl of green beans, the herbs & mullen finished drying, I got the weeks mess cleaned up and the house vacuumed.
The ham turned out wonderful, dinner is done, dishes are done.
I'll soaker hose on low over night, with our a bit of an odd heat wave rolling through.
Haver a wonderful day tomorrow,

Good morning I have 6 pullets but they grew up with the cockerel Jake.
The little coop will be theirs..

This is the weather forecast for the next week here. Instead of freezing water bottles, I filled up a few 1/2 gallon yogurt containers with water and froze them. I'll remove the ice from the plastic tubs then drop the ice blocks directly into the waterers. I think that will keep the water colder. Maybe.

When I freeze the containers like that take the lid off
drop them in the water, next day pull your container out.
That is how I do it anyway.
Sitting inside being a lump.

94 degrees here now. I just gave my chickens a little pile of frozen apple peels. And a whole frozen apple to play with. They seem to like the cold snack.

They sure do I cut out a pair of parachute pants with pockets for me.
Did scrape the crap off the tables.
93 now here turned one fan to blow out 2 blow in.
Will take the frozen veggie soon did fill their mud water. I did dig some of the mud out yesterday left a tiny amount.

We always have a small breeze blowing in front of the coop.
Birds sit there under the apple just cooling their heals.
