I feel like an awful pet owner It was 109 yesterday and my dog got a paw burn when I let her walk from my office to the car. She comes to work with me. I've never had that happen before. I feel absolutely terrible. Ugh!

First use vinegar on the burns.
Now you understand do not be too hard on yourself you wont do that again right

Ugh! I even prestarted my car and turned the air on so she wouldn't be hot when we got in the car to leave. Big failure on my part not to think of the hot asphalt.

Sorry about the paw burns on your pup, @Becks Chicks. We live and learn. I'm surprised she didn't let you know when it was happening.

She didn't act any different and it was maybe 50 feet to the car. She was licking it this morning and began limping when she started walking on it. It's definitely the paw pad. I would love for it to be something other than my neglect, but I can't imagine what else it could be.

We all live and learn over the years not allot surprises me anymore.
Damn heat killed one of my banty. I spent two days coming in with my face red as beet.
Was overheating my core after being out in it.
