Nothing like that happening over here, east of Toledo.

It even snowed a little again last night here, but it's melting fast. One good thing about it is that the flower seeds I planted outdoors are getting the cold they need for stratification.

It's going to be dreary, cold and wet for the next 10 days. Glad my garden is already prepped and ready for planting.

Fed my chickens a fresh-meat treat a little while ago, a big, juicy house mouse!

Just got back from the store with a big box of produce scraps for the girls. I've started sorting through the boxes so I just take what they'll eat. Today's score, lettuce, cabbage, tomatoes, apples and pears (which they've never had). My chickens eat better than me.

it's snowing here right now just looked out to check on the girls and BIG Flakes are coming down...

We have a trace of frozen white.
Up at 7:30 let dogs and birds out.

We had a bit of snow overnight. It was heavy wet stuff because we barely hit 30°

It was 30 when I got up this morning started a fire in stove.

Snow is melting away here. I'm cooking a dozen scrambled eggs for me and the chickens, then I'll cook the last two butternut squash from garden. The skin on the squash was starting to shrivel up a little, so I guess they need to be stored in a more humid spot.
