She died overnight. crazy thing is that 2 girls laid eggs in the box she was in.

I got 7/8" yesterday and 1-1/8" the day before. Not enough to register in the gauge last night but the sky is spitting a little right now.

Ya heat is on, still have to take eggs to banty.
This 4 have not hatched any for me so crap shoot.

We've been getting showers off and on for a few days. It has was getting cooler at night before the rain came. The cloud cover seems to warm things up a bit.

Something has found our yard and chickens.... they were out in our backyard and something has killed 2 of our girls... in the middle of the day!!! So we locked the rest of them down in our chicken run and today don't you know it we had an escape chicken and we just found her dead too. So what ever got our girls is waiting for our girls to roam the back yard... so our girls will stay in the run for a while. Found where the escape chicken got out and fixed it so no more escapes. We are now down to 7 chickens. This sucks

one was totally eaten all but the back bone and feet were left the other one the chest and was eaten and the innes were all over the place even the egg was left alone sitting there right next to the carcass. Not sure about the one today when my husband found her the crows were eating her. The fourth one was just dead not eaten....

Im sorry. Ive been fighting a weasel again so I know the loss really sucks
