Just was wondering if any of you might know what chickens these girls are??? I thought they were brown leghorns but they have beards. My other brown leghorns did not have beards and they don't have the white on their ear lobs?? they are 13 weeks old right now. Purchases them from Hoover Hatchery. any ideas??

Maybe it's a Faverolles hen, or a Faverolles cross???

Some sort of EE maybe, the beards and muffs are common.

Only one pen has a bowl instead of treadle feeder. Rats have been brazen. So I put out the ratinator last night.

22 of the dang things. Most were teenagers but there were a couple adults.
