Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

I spent the first half of the day setting up the airless sprayer, painting all I could reach on the siding from the ground, then cleaning the airless sprayer. I was able to paint 7 or 8 feet from ground level all the way around the house.

I have about one gallon of paint left, need to get two more gallons, which might be enough to finish the house. After the main color, the trim gets painted.

So much work, but so worth it. We have to keep up our houses.

I'm canning 5 pints of tomatoes. Not enough ripe tomatoes to do more. And now rain is coming, so I don't know if they will ripen. If they do, there are a ton of tomatoes out there.

Tomorrow I'll be getting a bunch of apples prepared for freeze drying. There are almost no canned apple products I like, so I think freeze drying is the answer for us.

Almost time to start making corn tortillas for dinner now.

I would buy a few boxes of tomato at Jeremys to finish enough for us.
Had a 2 hour call with direct TV what a mess called to cancel
the one in the master Richard watched.
There where three on the account they dropped that call.
I called back, James told this tv in the master to cancel
as James set went burp. Well heck she asked if I had a smart phone I said no smarter than me try again. James had canceled the tv in the master.
Okay he canceled his went to the main tv in the living room.
We rebooted the main one it found the two active lines problem solved.
I happily went to do tables and boards.

I think cold weather slows down tomato ripening more than rain does. I pick most of my tomatoes when they're just starting to change color and let them finish ripening inside. If there are tomatoes that are ripe or close to ripe in the garden when it rains they could split open.

Dang. Being with the chickens is a stress reliever. I sat with mine for a half hour today, and the dominant cockerel kept a close eye on me most of the time.

When I'm around the chickens, I let him be the boss. I'm just the guy that gives them food. I don't touch the hens when he's looking either, or else he may attack me someday. LOL

I would handle them in his presence for that very reason. I definitely don't tolerate roosters who are aggressive to people.
