Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

I really thought about ordering some this year. Im getting my wish list together as it's almost ordering time
Seems like a great idea, but I'm not sure I'd make enough stuffed tomatoes to use them. I'll read up on it and see what else the tomatoes are good for. I imagine we could at least put them in salads.

It is the same for us. I didn't plant a big garden, certainly not enough garlic, but it is producing better than most years this year. We've had such nice hot weather and the tomatoes and beans love it. But, on the bell pepper side? Maybe I'll get 4. I guess I need more than two plants. lol
I would have thought your area has a bit more warm weather for peppers. I haven't planted peppers after moving back here from TX in 2016. Tomatoes are almost done. I hope they all finish. I might just pull and hang the plants before it starts rainy cold weather. My dry beans are molding a bit, not quite dry yet. 😒

Guess I haven't mentioned chicken fever hit and I got 6 new pullets last weekend. I was actually wanting brown egg layers, ended up with more neutral colored girls. 🤪 2 Mystic marans, 2 F1 Zombies and 2 F1 Blue Olive Eggers. I haven't a clue about breeding designations, but I guess If I wanted to produce hatching eggs, all I would need is the right roo.

Maybe, but we live in the forest really with enough cleared land to have some grass, flower beds and a garden, maybe an acre and a half. I think the surrounding forest keeps us cooler and effects how much direct sun we get.

Thanks for the recipe @ValerieJ . There were 15 pounds of tomatoes waiting for me in the garden this morning. Plus I have around 12 pounds ripe that I need to do something with.
