I have one of those old heating pads that doesn't shut off, but the hanging ceramic heater works great. I'm VERY careful to make sure it doesn't drop down into the bedding.

I'm wondering if I should start hatching another batch of chicks. It's kinda fun to make chicks out of eggs. LOL

Not a one it was bid if with two new cockerel it was a huge maybe.

Good morning Washington! I'm already tired of the rain. It's going to be a long season!!!

Every time there is rain add 20 minutes to my chores to dry Mocha.
He is in a puppy clip, his hair is quite dense he is like big sponge out there.
Still have not found a renter to help with the bills here.

My chicks discovered their wings today and have been fluttering all over the inside of the brooder box. I mixed up a couple of water soaked starter crumbles for them to give them a break from dry crumbles, and maybe fatten them up a little quicker.

It wasn't really warm in Tumwater, but I would say mid 50's. It was a nice change. Cheered me up a bit.

Just hit 50 here now. Found quite a stack of wood hiding moving it to the garage so we can dry it out.

Just busy around here lately. Dogs were cleared of their 2 weeks blood monitoring on Friday. So they were in the 30% of survivors after eating that skin cancer cream. Only because I took them straight to emergency vet when I caught them with it
