Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Hey Bugged --

There is a 'farm' in Ellensburg that charges 50 bucks for processing lessons. The provide a lunch, and you get to take a meat bird home.

I'd like to come see how you guys do it -- I'm still not sure how the cone-bleed-out thing works. I do the chopping block thing - and I'm not real happy with the amount of flopping around they do. I'd be real interested to come watch/help.

I think I forgot to post a pic of my son's Halloween costume. I'm just worn out today!

He was very cute, when I could get him to wear it!

I would love to have you come over, and join the group!!!

Thank you for letting me know what others are charging for classes. It makes me feel better to know that I can do it for less than half of the price. I also bet that my lunch will taste better than the other place.

I do love to cook. Though lunch is more like sandwiches, and fruit. with freshly squeezed lemonade. So there isn't much cooking involved. But in a pinch, I could do hamburgers, and hot dogs. I do love my BBQ. lol

My little goobers. Jeanine was a princess, John was Captain America, William was nothing. He went to Puggles (the littlest age for AWANA) for a while then we pulled him out to participate in the carnival with the rest of us. He didn't want to wear the cape I pulled out for him to be a Super Puggle, so he was nothing.

I'm going to haul the cage out from under the house and figure out how to cut a hole in the acrylic. I wonder if I could use a jigsaw? If this works well, I could use the cage for meat chicks in the spring!
A variable speed jig-saw is best at the lowest setting. Use a metal blade and go slow because the friction melts the plastic. Jagged edges can be filed or sanded and polished.

Good luck
