The party, Last year a bunch of us got together for a pot luck in February. It was a lot of fun. I think we had 15 BYCers show w/ family. We need to start planning this early cause we won't get 2 people to agree to anything for awhile and it takes some time to line up a space make arrangements etc. So yes all are invited and welcome to join in the conversation. And some people don't check in on this thread daily, so we need to get the word out. Once it gets more firmed up we can start a thread with the details in the chickenstock forum.

I was trying the Truvia in coffee. You are so right yucky.
I've been diagnosed with metabolic syndrome for nearly 5 years. Probably had it uncontrolled for 20 years. I've pretty much have given up all simple Carbs. I eat potatoes, rice, white bread maybe once or twice a year. I mostly eat meat and veggies with a little fruit, ww pasta and wg bread. Gets a little old at times, but I just wash it down with a little red wine.

Not a mid west thang, its a 2 year thang

Hi, I am looking for good quality silkie eggs or a young pair for my 8 year old daughter for Christmas. She wants to show in 4-H next summer. I plan on attending the Chehalis show next weekend, can anyone point me in the right direction? Thank you!!!!

Crisco'd the family cat and all the knobs in the house....dumped rocks in the toilet to wash them, then flushed...had to rip up the whole toilet...2 weeks later dumped bars of soap in the toilet and flushed, so we ripped up the toilet again thinking it was rocks...oh so funny !!!!!

How about drawing on the walls with poop ???
I couldn't have the only artisitic kids in the world

Yes metabolic syndrom is in most of us and does not get diagnosed at all.
Most people do not go to the doc cuz they are overweight, they just figure they are over weight and it is from over eating, not hormones or glandular.
I have Hashimotos and Addison's to go with my celiac disease, and probably the biggest metabolic syndrom I have is sitting here on my butt

But also have Raynaud's syndrom so cannot go outside much

One that comes to mind is I caught my 18 month old son sitting on the bathroom floor with a bottle of my makeup. Had it all over his face and his jammies. Make up does not wash out BTW. Not straight from the bottle poured onto cloths and dried anyway. Remember thinking why I put that stuff on my face! Can see why it clogs pores. Never had poop on the walls though. YUK!
