Just to set the record straight !!!! I am not out of shape ROUND IS A SHAPE !!! I am not fat just too short for my weight.

I only have female silkies. Hard to get fertile eggs that way. I buy my silkies from Sheryl Butler. I just got a lovely white from her last month. She often has birds for sale at the shows- always healthy and good quality.

Just curious, have anyone of you heard of Stevia? It is naturally from the Stevia plant, unlike Splenda, has zero glycemic index, unlike sugars, and is much more sweet and great to add to just about any recipe or drink.

We're planning on growing our own Stevia this spring, but in the mean time use it as a sugar sub all the time.

Last day of freedom before a full work week again.

We're trying to get everything in order so we might have time to make it to the show next weekend. All will need to be in order as my mom is coming to visit midweek the following week and we'll have to move around things so she can be more comfortable in our small house...

Our schedule fills up quickly but we'd like to come to a meet-up. Selfishly, the closer to Seattle the better.

CR, I calculated and by show time I too am going to get more feed, but will have room for Weavagarden's order.
I usually get 4 Poultry Special and some grower, this time we are getting 6 Poultry Specials.
With Weava's order that will be 12 sacks of feed, we can handle that

OH...BTW !
I want the concrete rooster in Winlock soooooooo bad !!!
Who made it ?
I have a naked brick monument out from that houses a useless mail box and that concrete rooster would be perfect glued on top !!!!
Does anyone know why there is a beautiful concrete statue of a multicolored rooster in big ol downtown Winlock ???

Sorry, I am laughing with you...breath...laugh. Tomorrow she will be 16 and wanting to borrow the keys to the car and the day after that she will be going to college. (hypothetically of course). It is easy to stand on this side of the computer and say that and it is harder to be right there with a 2 yo or 3 yo or 9 yo, etc....right there having a tempertantrum.

I can sympathize. If you were closer, I would tell you to send her over...she could play with the 9 yo. You can do it. Really sounds like you need a break. Leave her with DH and go get a coffee?

Yea just like any little one. Always better for someone other than Mom and Dad. I'm about to send her to stay with her Aunty so I can have a day to myself. Granted I would just clean my house and care for critters, but sometimes thats all I need. My mother is a great help for short amounts of times, but she is disabled and can not keep up with the little one. Plus in my oppinion, she drinks far to much booze, for all the meds she is on... Ok enough of that... Just need to make it through the end of the year, and all will go back to normal hopefully.
