Oh, and by the way, for anyone (I remember a couple people were doing it) who is using Silver Cuckoo x Black or Blue Copper Marans to create Golden Cuckoo. . . . You're actually not creating it. Golden Cuckoo is Golden Salmon based, go figure. . . Which makes all the sense, as I've always wondered why Golden Cuckoos don't look like they have a drop of mahogany in their genes at all, and also why they seem to have so much gold on the chest in females.

And of course I never realized the golden triangle in their wings. I feel so stupid. . .

Anyway, Black/Blue Copper x Silver Cuckoo creates barred Copper, not Golden Cuckoo.

Hey CR, Illia, La Sombra...and maybe Cheryl...what if we left here and car pooled , to the party ?
My van seats 8 but the seats are in storage...but I would have room for food, and door prizes, I would donate a painting...CR said iron work ?
Any of us with a vechicle that hauls alot of People that we can use to car pool ?

LOL that would make my day! And make my DH so not happy! And OH what a beautiful grab bag that would wind up being. lol Oh well, eventually he will realise that my chickens aren't going anywhere. lol And that they are ALOT cheaper than bringing home another horse. lol I would rather keep a large flock of chickens, over 3 horses. lol Don't get me wrong, I love horses, but its all a numbers game. lol 1 horse would equal what? 150-200 chickens.

OK everyone hope the power does not go off, so many have incubators going...and babies hatching and brooding...Illia did you set any more eggs ?
I hope your power stays on !
I have also shopping and have all the goodies to make Imp's desert YUMMY...have to go crack my bucket of walnuts DH brought me a 5 gallon bucket of walnuts from his Dad's Place in NorCal....he has 4 acres in Almonds, 1 acre in apricots and 2 acres or so in Walnuts...assorted apples and Pinot Noir grapes and I am not there to make my wine this year am hauling water in the wine carboys instead ...Good luck all tonight !!!

Oh, and come spring, I would LOVE to get a few planting twigs from TOO MANY of her fantastic Weeping willow, I have a big curly willow in California and 2 starts of it here...the twigs look so cool in a vase...OK good night all.

OK all!!! Cross your fingers for me, and hope for the best. I just asked my client for a raise! Ive been working at a lowered trial rate for the past year... And finally got up the nerve to ask for my standard rate of $12.00 an hour... So

heres to hoping that they don't freak out. lol

My Husband has no faith, and says they wont be willing to do it...

Oh and I am still waiting. lol I wish I had another extension cord, I'd put a light out there. But at the moment, thats not possible.

Oh, just re read your post. If it doesn't create Goldens then why does the website say that?!!!!! What a pain. All that for nothing. Anybody want a bunch of Marans cross chicks?
