Other jobs they pay set amount.
If I was in your shoes this would be the one I would try to spend the most hours at.
This job your income is only limited by you.
Waitresses can make great money if they learn to excel at their job.
Example.........
Sell your self.
Make suggestions of what your restaurant excels at.
If you serve food you know isn't going to be the greatest no matter how good your service most customers are thinking they got ripped off on the taste or amount of food for the money spent and then they take it out on your tip.
Stop that before it has a chance to happen.
Someone orders something that you know the cook on duty doesn't make well or the ingredients suck, or the amount served sucks, suggest something else that you know the cook excels at in the same price range.
Yes, that job is hard work but I'd rather come home beat at what ever job I do with my income based on my efforts.
Not being limited by someone else's idea of the value I can produce.
I completely agree. But I would be working in the kitchen. And I am very happy to possibly be doing that. They already sell my pumpkin, zukini, and banana breads there. Will be testing out some cookie recipes on their customers as well. But I will be darned if I will GIVE the company my recipes. lol They are just gonna stay on paper at home and in my head. At least until I decide to pass them on.
I'm leaning torward Homedepot, as they offer benefits. But would really love to work in this kitchen, even if it is just part time.
