I'm torn between chickens and quail. I've been drooling over illias shamos for a while now though.
What about you? Do you have hatchititus? I've got it baddddd

Well, I'm doing a staggered hatch, so I have more bantam cochins due on 3/22!

But not very many, I had put in 8 more eggs and I did candle those tonight and 3 of them were totally clear, so that's only 5 more.

I'm planning to wait until the show before I put more in. Never know if I'll find any goodies there!

Speaking of which, is anyone bringing chicks/hatching eggs to the show? Please let us know what you'll have so we can plan ahead!!

If it were me, I'd look for a nice Bed and Breakfast in Snohomish which is only 10-15 min's away from the fairgrounds, much closer than Everett. Someone posted a link earlier to one they recommended. But Everett is the nearest big city.

Oh, I am sorry, I had not read yet. I will go and catch up and read. Thank you everyone. DH and I where just getting on and looking at motels. Would love to brng my 5th wheel....but just too afraid of the weather being nasty.Again, thank you so much.

You could probably park you 5th wheel on the fairgrounds. You could call and ask. I know they have hookups on site, but I don't know if they are available year round. But I would be leary of driving over the pass with it if the weather is bad!

I'm trying to wait until the show too, I've never been so I'm interested to see what I can find. Of course they still haven't told me if I get the day off so I might be out anyway

But the shows a whole week away, a whole week with an empty bator!

I have a set, and a hatch coming & going every 5 days, it is a wonder how I know what day it is !! But I do screw up on that too, and am still sick, I can blame it on the illness !!

Yeah I am already bringing a dozen Creve for someone but other than that...I'll just have to see who/what's laying before I head out the door...the weather's too crazy to predict now!
