The next question is what's going in the incubator next? :gi
I'm torn between chickens and quail. I've been drooling over illias shamos for a while now though.
What about you? Do you have hatchititus? I've got it baddddd

Well, I'm doing a staggered hatch, so I have more bantam cochins due on 3/22!

But not very many, I had put in 8 more eggs and I did candle those tonight and 3 of them were totally clear, so that's only 5 more.

I'm planning to wait until the show before I put more in. Never know if I'll find any goodies there!

Speaking of which, is anyone bringing chicks/hatching eggs to the show? Please let us know what you'll have so we can plan ahead!!

OK thanx been having that problem lately.

4312 Just tag onto that trailer and go. All ya gotta do is point the truck and the trailer has to follow.

I replied to your request earlier. Best Western is right next to the one you mentioned. The one you mentioned is a lovely pink place. Monroe is really not that big of a tourist attraction. There are those two hotels and one other one that is even more sketchy in town. They are only here for events at the fairgrounds and as a last pit stop before going over the pass. Oh, somehone else mentioned the Dutch Cup in Sultan. Don't know anything about that one.

If it were me, I'd look for a nice Bed and Breakfast in Snohomish which is only 10-15 min's away from the fairgrounds, much closer than Everett. Someone posted a link earlier to one they recommended. But Everett is the nearest big city.

Oh, I am sorry, I had not read yet. I will go and catch up and read. Thank you everyone. DH and I where just getting on and looking at motels. Would love to brng my 5th wheel....but just too afraid of the weather being nasty.Again, thank you so much.

You could probably park you 5th wheel on the fairgrounds. You could call and ask. I know they have hookups on site, but I don't know if they are available year round. But I would be leary of driving over the pass with it if the weather is bad!

I'm trying to wait until the show too, I've never been so I'm interested to see what I can find. Of course they still haven't told me if I get the day off so I might be out anyway

But the shows a whole week away, a whole week with an empty bator!

I am staying at the Guesthouse. It was $40 cheaper than Best Western and also has the free breakfast. I wasn't impressed with the Best Western last year (they messed up my room and then when I went to check out tried to charge me for their mistake). Basically, I booked a small room with one bed. When I got there they said that was all sold out and here--have a suite, no extra charge. Then I went to check out and they tried to charge me like $200!

I replied to this on Mahonri's thread, but my Seramas from Jen hatched on day 21 just like anything else, I locked them down at the end of day 18.
