Who is it that has those tuffed butt aracanas (?)
I was talking to a guy that has been looking for em' for quit awhile.
I filled him in about the show in Monroe and he said he'd be there. Hope they bring chicks as I know that nobody can get them or has them avail. on the list.
Didn't get his name (which I normaly do, and should have) but he did get mine. I'm also telling alot of people about our thread here on BYC.
Anybody know if there bringing chicks to the show?
Mike

There are several people that show Aracuanas there...

Um....it's the wrong time of year for me for me to be hatching yet...I'm hoping to set eggs in about a month...but I'm saving up for a cabinet incubator first.

We have a limit of 8 but my lot in the old rules when I started chickens would allow 11... so I have 10

I sell the chicks or the juveniles or the adult birds. So I only have 10 adult chickens at any given time.

This is true.. they make great dinners...

Oh really?

ummm -- if you need regular eating eggs, there's someone here in town --- I think they are still selling their eggs

will have to run by and see -- we lost touch with them last year when we went to Maui for our annual doctors' visits, and didn't get reconnected (we did a lot more traveling when we got back then, than we usually do -- had to see elderly cousins in case it was our last chance to)

fertilized EE x BR mostly ...

if I ever get my incubator built, I will see if I can get some from them to try out -- more fun than trying to hatch Costco eggs

Maybe, if you want to take a look at it.
It's the first one I bought, and still my favorite!
Works fine.
I'll wipe it out if your interested. Been stored since last season. It's one of the ones that I put up in the pix that I post.
The other one is being used at the Farm and Feed in Monroe. Second best! Always keep the best for myself.
