Hi Toni,
Glad you feel better today.
COSTCO's RICE PRICES:
25# of calrose is $13.57
50 lbs is only 50c cheaper.
25# of Jasmine is $18.37
Much yummier.
These are prices that include delivery. Actual in store prices would be lower.
And I think United Grocers Cash & Carry has 25# bags of brown calrose for about $20.

wow sorry I suggested it. my vet has it and says it is safe to spray in eyes. do you spray your bleach solution in the eyes? doesnt hurt them? I will have to go read some more about it. thought there were other ingredients or something they did to it in order to make it safe but effective.

Are we going to need to let the pizza place know that we have a large group coming in for lunch? I am not sure how many are going to make it, and there could be a few that will join us after we meet up for the day. So with Tamara not coming, do we need to make sure that we will be able to eat together as planned? I remember the name of the pizza place, and they have a gluten free menu there, plus salad bar.
I think we were planning on doing dinner, but if everybody would rather do lunch, that might be easier for those that are going to head out Saturday after the show...
I think that there is another group that is going to want to meet for dinner also. A number of the group will have to leave right away to amke it home Saturday night, but there are some that are spending the night. So what I was thinking is that there needed to be 2 groups one for lunch and one for dinner. Some people will be able to go to both meals. I don't think that a place has been located for dinner yet. That should be done ASAP so that a reservation can be made. We also would need a head count for dinner at least. Lunch would be more flexible on the numbers if we eat at a buffet.
BREAKING NEWS !!!! Dw just got done gathering eggs and came into Ye Ole bell factory to show me her catch. She had an egg that was quite large so I said we gotta weigh that one. Are you ready for this 4 3/4 oz
YUP you read that right four and three quater ounces. Will post pics later after Ye Ole bell factory has closed for the night!!!
I skipped work and sat out in the chicken coop with my 2 dogs for a while. The last few days, Fern had been acting differently, almost like she knew she was going to die soon, and there were things she wanted to do. Because of her health problems, we seldom let her out in the past year. Saturday she kept insisting to go outside whenever there was a break in the rain. Each time, she only sat on a rock and watched the birds at the feeder or turned the other way and looked over the view. One time there was a cat from a feral colony we had placed here 4 years ago sitting with her. I had not seen that cat in a year, and thought he was gone. (we have another feral that is almost tame that Char, my other pet cat likes to hang with - but only on opposite sides of the glass door. It's funny, neither cat will eat unless the other is there eating too!) Yesterday, Fern wandered all around inside when we were home. She usually hides in the day and explores at night. When I had the dogs in and was brushing them, she came in and sat with them too. In the evening, she jumped on my desk and sat by me when I was on the computer. She had lost so much weight. In December and part of January, she was eating alarming amounts of food and not gaining anything, then she cut back a little more each day. 2 weeks ago she ate maybe a can a day. I gave the remaing food to the vet as my other cats won't touch canned food. I had cans of Felidae for old cats with sensitive teeth, plus Nutro and Pinnacle. I could not even entice her to eat with Pinnacle, which is usually her favorite. I'm going to earn a lot fewer bomus bucks at ACE! She did not even want to smell any food since Thursday. Instead of running to me when she heard the cans, she ran away. I know she is more comfortable now, and I feel guilty both for putting her down, and for not putting her down sooner. I think her demise has hit me harder than others because she was always frightened of life, always too alert to things around her. My other cats have been much more relaxed, I know they have a good life. With Fern I was never sure, until the last few days, I've never seen her relaxed, and I have never seen her seek out attention before. I'm relieved she is no longer suffering. I only wish she would have had a happy life. I can't tell if she did. She was not very old. I just found her papers, and she was younger than I thought; 6 years. I thought she was 8+
When I had to put my old dog, Riley, down, a friend told no matter when I did it I would feel guilty. There is no right time. If there is, they're not telling us when it is.
