Oh so I didnt tell you...
Last night while I was next door having dinner with my family. Someone managed to syphon half a tank of premium gas out of my car.

Left me with an 8th of a tank! I HAD more than enough gas to get me and my husband to and from work for the next 8 days. And now... Well now I am sitting here thinking about what I can do to prevent it happening again...

Cameras, locking gas cap, bear trap set next to my car, or sit outside in the horse pasture with a shotgun full of rocksalt?

Im so incredibly ticked off about this, and the cops wont even bother to take a statement, unless I have the thief on film...

If you would like, I can send some to you next time I do a Fire Mountain order. Several friends and I place orders together so we can reach the deep discount levels. I'll let you know next time we place an order. It takes us a week or more to put the order together - as more stuff gets added on, the discount becomes greater which temps us to purchase even more!

I need to find someone who will do this with Vintaj brand natural brass as that is what I like working with. I no longer have my business licencse, and I no longer make enough to buy each component in bulk.

What if I send you the beads ?
I have TONS of glass lamp beads, and necklace wire w/ends, & clasps and I have TONS of semi precious beads made of rare rocks...yes I am a recovering bead-a-holic & have massive stash here in the wee barn.
I could find the ones I like & ship them to you cheap enough.

That would probably work...I would still have to charge for the chicken pendants and my time.

But that would work.

I remember you have neighbors across the street ?
Wildveiw cam takes infrared pics, but then you still do not know who it is....locking gas cap is what I would do, the kind that needs a key!!!

They'll pop through asphalt too!

Isn't it amazing given that they have no roots to speak of, and are generally just goo & water ?

When my brother and I were little, we overheard my mother one morning telling my dad that some naked ladies popped up through our driveway. We ran outside to see who these brazen naked ladies were (was it the drunken lady and her friends from accross the street?) Seeing no naked ladies, we ran down the street and knocked on several of our neighbors doors to see if they had spotted the naked ladies walking up someone elses driveway. We were rather dissappointed to learn that they were just sprouts of pink lillies; but the adults all had a great laugh at our expense!

Oh that would probably work....I am not sure how much time I'll have to do too much beading with the breeding season in full swing now and being preggy...but I'll definitely be looking for some beads next winter--which is the time I do most of my beading!

Oh we have hundreds of naked ladies in Northern Calif, they love the high desert climes...they pop up & bloom so pretty, then die.
Then the heat sets in, up to 113 all summer from late May until the late October rains set in...and then pow!
The leaves grow up...ALL the native plants in the high desert area go dormant in the heat except the oaks, and there alot of varieties there.
One of my favorite is the California Buckeye, which grows leaves & blooms in early spring..by summer heat in June it appears to die..but slowly you notice the big "balls" which are their nuts, growing until the trees are covered by only these hanging nuts..then in fall's rains, the tree wakes up and grows leaves again over the winter & the nuts fall..washed down the muddy hillsides to root.
Their nuts are similar to a horse chestnut, but the tree looks fig-like.
