They need their heinies trimmed of excess fluff & puff to improve fertility, but they are starting to lay now, nice big eggs.
They are the sweetest, LB Cock, a LB hen and a splash hen.
Some of these pics I took and some RFF took. They are beautiful birds, I love how wide they are.

Thats pretty much what I am observing here. I have 3 BA's hatched, and one Olive egg hatched so far. Lots of pips in the BA and OE, but the marans still hasnt done an entire lot. Slowly zipping, and I cant even see a crack in the second marans egg yet. One of the BA's is so light in color that it almost looks silver.

i cant wait to go home this weekend and take pics of the chicks. maybe i will be able to then see what sex i have of the BCM's are i got from cheryl butler.

i am hungry so i am having cheese and crackers.... but the cheese is string cheese so i am eating that separately. how weird is it to put butter on the crackers? they taste better this way...

Just got a call from a very upset DH, they stabilized Mom & all got to visit her then took her into ER to remove the icky pacemaker (why at this point I do not know!) and suddenly all the alarms went off, crash carst in, defibs ready, BP plumeted, and the ceased the surg & rushed her to CT scan=blood clot. They cannot find the blood clot but there must be a big one somewheres....they probably discontinued blood thinners during the surgery to help stop excessive bleeding, and when they did this can happen. I have not heard anything since.
I want to know why the heck they messed with her again!
After the infection was over & she was recovering, why why why did they want to take the new pacemaker back out????
So they could put a new-new one in ??
Gripes!!!

Just when she was recovering, and now near death again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Illia, did you look at territorial seeds tomatillos , the Aunt Molly's variety is originally from Poland ?
And it is COLD there ?!?!
maybe this is the tomatillo for us here is the swampy perpetual winter .
I am gonna go collect eggs and make tea...so worried!!!
