i'm back in WSU.
tomorrow got to take the frozen great horned owl to the vet school for 'educational purposes'

i took more pictures of my chickens and some of my chicks. but in the interest of not bombing the thread with photos please go to my album and let me know

also i have 4 Marans chicks in the album. i think 3/4 are hens and one is an obvious roo. also 3 out of 4 are black copper and one is a wheaten marans.

so please look and either comment directly on the photo or on here.

Move over duckies, mommy is going to the PLANT SALE.
Oh, and for those of you that like FUCHIAS, the fuchia lady might be having a sale before M's day. I'll go find out.
Rianwolf, your mom says she knows about this one.

Ask me again a little closer to the event. I don't make plans that far in advance.

X2 cause I have ADD really bad these days.

This is a still air incubator. It's a hova bator 1602. Is it still the same levels or a bit higher?

You should be able to go on the Hovabator web site & download directions.
This is true for gQf, so I am assuming same true with Hovabator.

I hate to tell you Toni, but that is a Little Giant bator. The other two bators I have are both Hovabators. I will try calling my DSiL, and try to get the other bator back. That bator has the turning rack.

All your ideas sound very good, but I really like the lawn mower conversion idea the best.

What? Why I've never heard of such a thing! Why my DH does exactly what I ask him to, except when I print out plans for a coop and he decides to completely ignore them, or I ask for the door to swing in and he makes it swing out, or when I asked that the new bathroom cabinet be centered underneath the light fixture and he has to put it 4" off center, or blah blah blah.

So after 20 years of marriage I pick my battles, figure what's really important to me and try to close my eyes to the rest. I appreciate that he wants to be the hero by doing things around the house so I just let him know how much I appreciate how hard he's working and then keep my mouth shut.

But it can be REALLY hard sometimes can't it? Super frustrating that we speak completely different languages sometimes!
Gotta love 'em. I can't remember why every once in a while, I just know ya gotta love 'em.

Okay I now feel extremely blessed with my DH. He knows to ask me where I want things to go, and he normally does exactly what I want. I think he knows that I will complain for years if he ignores me.

But he did build a very unique chicken coop.

The nesting boxes pull out like drawers.

I am still very grateful that he built me a coop, and I don't complain about it very often.

lol I understand completely! Ive been with my DH for 6 years married for almost 4. He does mean well, so I keep my mouth shut 90% of the time. lol But it will always baffle me as to why he even bothers to ask, and then when Im not even done speaking he does the oposite! lol
gig.gif
Little goober that he is, I love him dearly. Couldn't emagine my life without him. Even though he is a major pain in the rear. lol

maybe you should tell him where you don't want it. A little reverse psychology.
