X2 to 4312 and DH

Thank you very much. It is funny....I have had people make comments on making it the 17 years, not a real common thing nowadays it seems. Well, it was touch and go at times...Anything worth having is work...but it is funny, I think he and I were just to hard-headed/stubborn to call it quits......

Okay, all you chicken brains I gotta question: Little Bantam cochin hatched out 2 chicks that I stuffed under her when she went broody. I was wondering if I could go to the local feed store and buy her a couple of more babies and sneak under her. DD wants to do. Will the FS babies imprint/accept her or is it too late? Will she accept them? I was just thinking 2 or 3 more under her. Don't know why...just cuz they are cute. Unfortunately, I have an incubator that has 15 eggs in it, but they are not due for another week.

I do that all the time. Just tuck the new chicks under her at night. Usually the hen is vey accepting the first few days, though harder to fool after a week or so.

Thank you so much. DD was crushed when I told her we may not be able to. I will let daughter get a couple more and I will sneak them under her (the hen)tonight.

Thank you so much...BTW...I saw some of your birds at the Monroe show and was wanting to talk to you...but you were busy and I was not ready to buy anyway...Gorgeous birds.

ETa: Because the way I wrote it, sounded like I was going to sneak babies under DD in the middle of the night.

We looked at those at Cabelas and on line there is a few videos of a guy using one, and wet feathers FLY all over YOU and the yard!
I want DH to build the "drop it in the tub" kind & I can stand back & spray a hose....They had a big horizontal plucker at the Duck Club in California DH really liked, he is working on looking into that type too, but I have not seen one anywhere & cannot imagine a horizontal tub plucker...?
He said it was angled too, not level...weird.

I do not write full programs in php but modify mostly. The hardest part is my php and mysql skills lol. It is adequate for me and my needs thus far. There is also asp etc that you can set up to use as well. I think its a good platform to work off of. I dont know of anythign that is close to it in robust web design and programming. I am not a professional but when I ask friends that are they most times refer to dreamweaver so.

I feel the same way about Visual Studio, Now if I could find a plug-in/add-in for php I would be very happy.
