OK. I can't find something, so I am going to ask for help. First I must explain that I have extremely vivid dreams, so this may not acutally have happened. So here is the question. Wasn't there someone who had posted that they were trying to rehome some Large Rabbits. I would very much like to contact that person if it really happened. (NO laws about Rabbits in Hoquiam - Yet)

Well good! I'm not the only one who needs coffee to get my head together.

Glad to see you around, Drakemaiden, I don't know if you've been reading the thread, but we're going to have a get together in February if you'd like to come.

I just picked up a copy of the January back yard poultry at my feed store and they tell how to organize meetings about how many chickens you can have so it might be a must see for some of you who have these problems. I did send you a message back and links to my picutres of my rabbits. Will be home from work mostlikely later than normal. I usally am home by 11:30 pm

I don't think it was to the Rabbits.

Thanks for the help Eagle. You explained it very well. I am excited to see what traits they each have..... I may have to keep 2 of those little Black Marans. Yikes. (So many chickens, so little space.)

RonB -
I have been waiting to show you this pic all day. I wanted to make sure I had them all.

Oh, we just wanted to see if one of the other Washingtonians could be a ride down to the party with someone up north.... I can't remember who or where they live, but it was close to the Canadian border.
Just a mix up in which one is up north and which is over on the penninsula

If I have room, no problem!....I'll have to see, because usually I have a full van

It was Ferndale.

I was thinking of getting rid of a couple of old homemade brooders anyone interested?
One is an old dog house with the top of one side cut open and I use 1/4 mesh wire over hole. Plywood over entry. (heavy 175+ lb)
The other is a free standing deal that I made. It has plastic corrugated roof and wire bottom with an extra plywood board that can also be used.
I can get some pictures up tomorrow if anyone is interested.
I except all donation and gratuity for said items.

Well, Thank you!

HOWEVER, did you happen to notice that I have 12 hens, and only 4 are EE's. There are 10 green eggs.

I found a stash out under the boat out back. I had been checking there, but they managed to wriggle the eggs under a piece of wood. (I wondered why my green eggs had dropped off the past 3 days.) I followed one of them when she jumped the chicken fence. As I went out to retrieve the egg she just laid, I saw the other 7 of them that were in the pile under the board. So, really only 8 are from today. Still a good haul. The good news is that this all started after it warmed up a bit, but it is still like a refrigerator out there, so I am pretty sure they are all still good to eat. Nobody has been sitting on them...... Just hoarding them in a pile.
