OK here is my hot frame, next to my old cold frame.
and here is a shot of a chunk of the styrofoam board...it is from Home depot, super fast & easy to insilate anything!
You have to line it when used in the coop..except on the ceiling, I just cut the 4 X 8 panel to fit the coop ceiling, goop with liquid nails, and hold it up..it sticks after a minute or two, or hold in place with large headed screws.
This is a chunk from a full panel...laying on the top of the hot frame seen from the back to show hinges.
It was 78 degrees in there this morning, I have a remote therm in it.
There was a thick layer of frozen hail & ice on the top of the window.
