I have 1 BW Ameraucana Pullet that I dont feel can go back in with her hatch mates... Ive tried 3 times, and each time her poor vent gets picked bloody. I also have the little cockeral too...

But maby Chickielady wants dibs on the pullet...

How old is it? If I can have dibs, I need to try to figure out which batch of chicks to put here with.

If I'm remembering right, she should be around 7 weeks. Chickielady is that about right for the W/BW AM chicks?

Um, not sure if you noticed this or not...but, um....you have an onlooker who is thinking "peking duck" or "duck under cat" or ...well, I can't think of any others.

We were saving the eggs for the next broody (she had another 7 under my EE - I've thrown 2 out. I suspect the others under the EE are not viable, but I really need a better flashlight before I toss them. I need to candle Harriet's eggs as well - I think hers will be easier since she does not attack me! If all the EE eggs are duds, I may take a few from harriet to put under her, or maybe I will get some more baby chicks from the feedstore and sneak them under the EE.

I just ordered a Brinsea EcoGlow Electric Hen. I'm hoping it works well. 18 watts to replace one of my 2 X 250 watt light bulbs has anyone here used them?
