Yes there are still some. Abplanalp's are about 1/2 mile away on tucker, and the Woods crew are still on brim road. Duryea and McGlaughlins (sp) that were on 12 are both gone and the only one on Jackson is the one just south of stinky corner.

I think there were about twenty farms when I was first in 4-H (which is getting on for fifty years ago, eek!); I know the economic reasons behind the WHB but it sure played hob with the rural community.

I would have loved to have seen you, did stay long with the news of my son. Have to let me know when she's going to meet you again there and I might stop in..
Dont you just love animals when they do stupid stuff like that..

well it was an older mare and the owners were away for the weekend. the blanket she had on came undone and wrapped in her front legs...in about 2 feet of mud so she was trapped, would not have been good had I not seen her from the road. shoes wash I guess. she is ok now, trotted off after she got out of the mud... not so much as a thank you as she waved her tail at me...lol

hope your son is ok!

Stinky Corner! Ha... Funny to hear other people say the nick name for that intersection. Ya really know someone is from Lewis Co. when they know that name!
