Right now I have a TB or TB cross 15 month colt that needs a home! I rescued him from the neighbor and he tried to kill my goat!! he's easy to catch and I've done some round penning, but, I don't have the time to train him and my friend who has goats and horses says that even if we castrated him, he'd still go after them cause he's the low man!! Nice pedigree on your mare! Your just trying to find her a good home? I have two horse that are older too.

AND lets not forget everyone's favorite MAGPIES!!!!! I HATE those birds!!
rant.gif

I was not familiar with magpies until I saw them all over the campus at WSU. I don't believe we have them on the west side of the mountains. I thought they were pretty but I don't know anything about them. Are they nuisance birds?

Not any more than crows or jays; they're noisy, scavenge in birthing fields, and hunt mice in the wheat and alfalfa. They're natives, and therefore protected, but are hell on soft fruit and also agressive around their nest. And Western Washington isn't part of their range, although Western Oregon is; their range is alsot exactly the same as the Northern Pacific Rattlesnake.

If you haven't guessed, I'm a far-gone life-listing birdwatcher.

HELP!!!! My 2 GQF's are full and 1 is having issues. I think a short in the red side light. I have a load of eggs that are ready to hatch and have doubled them up in the working bator but need to find someone who might work on these bators in Wa. im in Eatonville and need help asap. Have cash and will travle but not more than an hour. Anyone know someone who can help? I opened the back and dont see a short anywhere but I have no clue what to look for. I bought some deer plot seed, it has a really nice mixture of grasses that I'm going to plant in my new runs. We just got the poles up last night so it'll be ready to go soon! I'm trying to figure out how to cover the top, I have free range layers, but, it's not a closed flock cause outside birds can have contact, I don't like that, so somehow I am going to figure out how to close it and still have enough room to free range.

You know, when you eat breakfast two and a half hours early, you pretty much have to have what Hobbits call second breakfast and Paddington Bear elevenses. Now I need to sit still until the food settles and trust the girls to finish the floor framing without bugging me.
