I thought I had remembered you talking about the vaseline so I tried that but to no avail. As soon as it would cheep, everything would partially bulge putting stress on the opening.
This chick pipped low but came along and made it out so I thought it would make it. Then it rolled onto it's back and I saw the hole. Poor thing!

Sometimes it works, and sometimes it was not meant to be.

That's the hard part.

If you are making a feed run and want to get rid of a cockerel today, I could meet you some where. Let me know.

I know I have a wheaten, and I have several blue Ams that can get you blue wheaten.
I only have 1 blue wheaten, a pullet, am and keeping her.
If you have wheaten a blue cockeral would work..give you a reason to hatch
lol.png

Also have black Am cockerals.
All will go bye bye in the next few days unless claimed.
I must have 20 cockerals to "deal" with.
Got the order in with Scott, and corn is arriving tomorrow morning & will get ground fresh to add to the Max Gro, for the meat birds.
So I pick my feed up Thursday afternoon, and can bring which ever cockeral you want.
This gives me 2 days to deal with the cat...

So if my little pea brain has it right, I can put a blue am over a wheaten am an get a mix of both? or would they be all bw am? If I'm on the right track, then, yes, I'll take the wheaten am because I have a blue out of my hatch from clover.
Sorry if I'm being a pain in your pin feathers!
