The flock is happy too!

Sure am glad they know where Bonney Lake is. I haven't lived here long enough to know all that "where stuff is".. stuff.

I can find my way around the greater Puget Sound area okay, once I get south of Tacoma, North of Arlington/Smokey Point, or West of Bellevue.. I'm pretty much hosed.

As for the difference, if there is one between whites and pearl whites.. I can't seem to find any info on it. McMurray sells theirs as pearl, I bought mine from Cackle, where they're sold as just white.

Off topic: My boss is taking me to Charleston with him for a week at the end of next month/beginning of March. Time to do some schmoozing.... I mean networking...

I'm excited because it will be the first time in like.. 7 years that I've been away from either my husband AND kids at the SAME TIME!

My head hen is also a BR. But Fluffy keeps things under control here. No one really gets picked on except for the banty roo - and that comes mostly from the hens!

ETA: loving the new avatar Donna!

Thanks!

Imp, you did better than me. I ended up down in the duck-yard watching ducks. I did move some fencing around... a little.

It looks like the chicken door blew closed in the wind last night and the poor chickies were stuck inside all day with no water.

I went out to see them as soon as we got home but didn't realized what had happened for about 20 minutes. It was too dark to let them outside to drink so I brought them a large dog bowl of water. They drank three bowls!! Water dribbling all over their faces and chins. They were all pretty wet by the time they were done but at least they are all hydrated now. Of all the bad things that could have happened while were gone this is one I can live with. Phew! And, I guess since they were all bored today, 8/9.

Now - slow down on the typing. I can't keep up with this thread let alone read anything else!!!!!
