DH came home all bummed out today - another re-org at Microsoft. You can't do that in a place filled with Aspie's, they can't deal with change! Always makes this household a shaky place for the next month or so as DH gets depressed and wants to quit, which means we would lose everything as we paid 3X the value to have it built, and we owe most of that. Crud. ATwo weeks ago his manager called him into his office and told him he was doing such a great job he's up for promotion and a nice raise. The someone higher up decided their group does not make enough $ (he works on a FREE product), so they may get rid of it or limit it in ways he does not want to be associated with. This product was his baby, his idea, and he has been working on it for 6 years, and at MSFT for over 20.

My DH hates those re-orgs too. He hates change of any type. Hang in there! A mopey DH is not fun to deal with!

Thanks. He's pretty lucky, I think this is only his 7th. I know people who have been there half as long and have been through a dozen. Summer before last we just about lost this place. I don't want to go through that again. On the other hand, if we did, it may be a bit of a relief; no more worrying about when that string you're using to hold everything together is gonna break.

I want to get down to just a couple of roosters that get along so I can let EVERYONE out to free-range at the same time.

Ah shucks! lol Im about to give these little guys away. lol There aren't any feed stores around here with a rooster pen... My feed bill would be cut in half if I could get down to just one or two cockerals.

It's too bad you're so far from the Tumwater Del's; apparently one or two people a week come in looking for roosters there, and go away dissappointed that all they can do is wait for chicks on special order.

I wouldn't have lost it, if it was lost and not lifted (Freddie's in both Lacey and Tumwater have occassional outbreaks of pickpockets, as is common for groceries next to the freeway: I was bumped by a woman pushing past me to get diet soda and all I thought of when it happened was how much it hurt my ribs) but for a whole bunch of failed routines: the biggest two were that I'd left the house in my work pants, which have terrible front pockets, because I was too tired to change, so my wallet was in my back pocket and we left the house an hour later than I thought it was so by the time we got to check out I was having a low blood glucose crisis and was shaky and sick.

Luckily we're not in the process of taking out any new loans.

I let no one EVER bump me..and if they do, I spin around and pay attention, and immediately check my for my wallet !

I carry my wallet in my front pocket, its not easy for me to get it out so it should be impossible for some to with out me knowing.

luckily she only wants it when she's tired. the rest of the time she uses her cup.
