grrr - woke up with bad dreams and terrible headache

hope the aspirin works quickly (no not quackley -- my fingers aren't awake yet either)

gotta make a CARE package run over to DS today ... Crystal Lite, hot dogs, potpies, and string cheese;
DriFit shirts and shorts .... maybe he found a volleyball partner there

wonder if I will find out for sure, today, who's laying the olive egg, who produces the pink one

(timing was great, laying a pink egg for DGD Hailey the pink fanatic)

For being so eggscited to be back T HI didn't last long as the new night crew !!!! I mean really 8 posts over 28 minutes then nothing. What the heck did she walk off the job all ready or is she setting there pecking corn. For those who don't know peckin corn is when one nod's off the head falls forward, they wake and jerk the head back up repeatedly. Hope T gets plenty of rest so she can be back today full power.

fortunately, pot-pipes is well back in the past for him

alcohol has been his current downfall ... much of the time he still acts like he's nineteen
even though he has a 9-1/2 year old GRANDdaughter !

I am sure I will feel better after DH brings me a cup of pseudo-latte (hot milk with a scoop of instant coffee); it's chilly this morning in the loft, since I left the ceiling fan running all night, and the skylight vents are open, as is the balcony door

yes I can hear the roo ... he's two stories below me but only about 15 feet east .... however the first egg song is another couple of hours in the future, if they stick to the usual schedule

We made it ok on our flight yesterday. Now up at the crack & are cooling inside as it is so humid here in the midwest. DH & I are relaxing. Going to have to nap as we didn't sleep well on my Dad's guest bed- I need more pillows to support my growing belly. Made it to our 3rd trimester! Under 3 months now to estimated deliver day.

mmmm -- yes, usually DH and I are volunteering at Oshkosh WI .. this time of year .. without air conditioning

(in a tent under trees, best we could do)

we didn't go this year --- chickens, and the price of gas ... and a severe lack of energy on my part
