I never imagined how much fun it is to push the back door buzzer at the post office so you can pick up your chicks while it's still dark

All 27 arrived safe and sound and loud. They are tucked in for the night. Fuzzy little golf balls they are

Hi Everyone, I live near the Puyallup Valley in a small town about 30 minutes from the border of Tacoma. Good to "see" others from our area. I have 11 Pullets that are about 28 weeks, I think all are finally laying. The BO's were that last to get with the program. I also have Wyandotte's,BR,GSL,BA,AM, Started out with 13, one demiss from a dog and one was a Roo that had to go. We now have 9 chicks also that are 5 and 6 weeks old (welsummers , BCM and a Blue Copper Marans. Had to get those for the really dark brown eggs:).
My DH was looking for them for me and when we couldn't find anyone selling them,he thought about an incy, but then all kinds of ads on Craiglist showed up. Just took the 6 wk old ones out today since we actually had a nice day again. I got these last chicks straight run and I have one BCM Roo for sure, haven't quite determined what the others are. We're hoping Pullets.
Guess I've gone on long enough;)
Welcome everyone

and have fun on this thread -- be warned, we often talk a LOT (as much as our roosters crow) and we kid and joke around

PS. Don't be surprised if you end up with an incubator anyway eventually.
