I think D is going to grow out prettier than she appears right now. It's hard to say since C already has that symmetrical Columbian collar thing going on and already looks more decorative. I was never much attracted to E myself, but am intrigued by the barring and am curious to see how that ends up when he/she is mature.

A is actually the chick I liked from the day she hatched, but I do appreciate all of their differences much more now.

Now where is our Illia so she can sex these babies?

It's like she has a life or something not being here at our beck and call...

Uh oh. Meant to say that urge to buy an incubator can be a very dangerous thing. I'm fortunate that DH indulges me even though we're over our official limit here too. I've already talked to him about what I might want to hatch "just for fun" next spring and he just nods and says "okay..." I'm not sure he's really listening.

It okay that things didn't work out. I completely understand that he wasn't exactly what you are looking for. I am happy too, that we figured it out before I had to cross the bridge. I am a bit sad that I won't know where he ends up, but I am happier knowing he won't be waking me up tomorrow morning.
