This little #$@$% was the product of a fertility test....out of 8, and at 10 days I set more, so brothers & sisters will be here tomorrow.
HOWEVER I now have a beautiful white Silky in the brooder pen...and the woman that wanted it tells me she does not want it after all,, so..............Silky hen has to go!
She is gorgeous, so quiet & beautiful...but IN MY WAY!!
That is why this little #$%$$# chick is in the cabin in a cat crate!!!
ARGGH!!!

I would love to have another Silkie, especially a white one. I would be willing to drive to Raymond for a Silkie too.

The silky is from Sheryl Butler too, isn't she? Sheryl has nice stuff. Whoever ends up with her will be quite pleased, I'm betting.

Hey guys....

When I went to Stevenson last spring I was disappointed, too. That's partly why I didn't take any birds and just went to look. I was expecting a lot more.

BUT there's always Monroe and I like that set up much better....

ANYWAY....

Audrey has now decided that 5 hours of sleep a day are adequate.

She used to sleep 14-17 hours a day. She's been getting so tired that she can't fall asleep and screams.

Then she gets the hiccups and bad farts from all of the screaming and it starts all over again.

Besides that....not too much new is happening....we found a baby-sitter. I have to go back to work November 1st. I'm incredibly heartbroken about this and wondering how I'll survive being away from my daughter all day?? I think that first day back at work will be a killer.

Audrey is gorgeous. I love babies at this age. I love to let them look a face. All babies seem to love looking at a face at about 8 to 12 inches.
