I was told I should have turned them in as being offensive.
I did not find them "offensive"
And it is hard to "turn in your friends"!!!!!!!
There was no foul language or any adult content..and I went to bed.
I do not honestly know why I got in trouble!

We were turned in by our "friends".
Folks here in this thread clicked 'report'.
That is what brought the mods in.
I was provided a link to the 'rules'.
I will report all postings that violate those rules.

good question !

he was a semi feral chicken that just adopted us, guess he thought our yard was "good pickings" -- so I don't know the ancestry

the family "over the back fence" used to raise game cocks, though they moved several years before he showed up; I always figured he might have been a stray offspring

however there are roosters similar to that, ALL OVER Maui ... and Kauai ... and some on Oahu

So he's a Gamecock or Game cross then

Hawaii shares feral chickens similar to games the same that Florida and much of the Tropics and Sub-Tropics from India to the Phillipines does, - And they're all either pure game or game crosses. In fact Hawaii has quite a few Game breeders.

another thing that goes in the mix: there's a Del's Farm & Feed on Maui ... for several years they didn't carry chicks (at the height of the bird-flu scare), but they are now selling chicks from Privett just like the Del's here in town ... so there can be EE ("americana"), RIR, barred rocks, and anything else that was on their order list, running wild; also one of the local egg farms sold off their White Rock battery hens about six or seven years back, and quite a few of those went feral as well

so best guess is game cross, but could very well be full game, never saw that roo interacting with any other rooster; he was very good with "his girls" and their chicks
