This won't help much but I loved those "Chicken Tonight" jars of sauce they used to have. The Country French was my favorite. All you needed was chicken pieces and the jar of sauce.

Why don't you get some boneless, skinless chicken breasts, fettucini, a couple jars of Alfredo and some freshly grated Parmesan for Chicken Alfredo. If you wanted to do the Chef thing Alfredo is easy to make from scratch. It takes a lot of Parmesan though and good Parmesan is expensive. Sometimes if I'm using just one jar and it's not enough Alfredo I'll add some fresh cream and more Parmesan. Then all you need is a green salad. Maybe just a Ceaser. Cardinis is a pretty good purchased Ceaser dressing. If you want to make your own I have a good recipe.

Sleep is one of the most precious thing humans have. I learned this shortly after Kaity was born. I had her next to my bed, and I think that I wasn't really sleeping. I was resting and listening to her breath. She wasn't able cry out loud, and I was afraid that she would simply die in the middle of the night. When Tyler was born 17 months after Kait, I had a rule that nobody played in the middle of the night at my house. The first time I can remember Tyler smiling was just after I had changed his diaper, and fed him, then I put him into the baby swing. He smiled at the little 1.5 gallon fish tank that had a small light on in it. My poor son spent several nights sleeping in the baby swing. But he learned that he shouldn't play at night, because mama wasn't going to put up with it. It didn't seem to hurt him in the end. He is one the most responsible people I know.

So, can wine be made with just about any fruit? I have some blueberrys and rasberrys in the freezer or should they be fresh? I guess if I understood the process I should be able to think about what to use. I have lots of potatoes from the garden but wouldn't that make vodka or something? Hmm, not a bad idea. I love lemon drops and cosmos. Different process though I guess. Has anyone made both beer and wine? Which one is easier?

I found a headlamp at a consignment store yesterday. I can do things to the chickens in the dark now. That came out sounding kind of freaky.

I have an LED head lamp and find that when I use the red LED's the chooks don't seem to be too disturbed.

That's just common sense.

It may be but it is very surprising how many think they can do it. And Please Don't take any of this as me saying this is what Dave did. This is just me making a point that gets pushed aside.

I agree!!! This lesson was reinforced to me back in August of 1975. We got in trouble with a record rain storm, and even with a large group of family and friends, thing could have been fatal. My very good friend in high-school, and his brother, were a blessing to have had with us. between them and my brother, we survived to tell the tail. There is an awful lot of things that can go bad very fast in the woods. There is still many many miles of true wilderness out there in the hills, and way to many things that can go wrong in a heart beat.
