Okay it's like this for me; Without a potluck, I don't really need to come to the show, just to see chickens that, I don't need, or don't want to have. I just wanted too come to see all my BYC peeps. Otherwise I can save the cost of the fuel and keep the message board alive for the day.

I have the feeling I met the old dude about 10 years ago, and not much has changed. I am happy that I have never wanted to show with someone like this guy doing the judging. I don't have a very good tolerance for crabby people.

That was the edited version.

I did just get 17 Silkie eggs today. I won an auction this week, so I am going to see if I can get anything to hatch.

Oh my gosh...well if this what I have to do keep my true identity...ooops...I mean my age...then I may have to consider it. Does it have to be home made or can I buy one?

Store bought has no bribe ......no no no silence value.

Not sure about totally shell less but Ihave had a few that were VERY thin or just the membrane. Like VF said a few I wouldn't worry just make sure they have plenty of calcium available.

We have to walk before we run and it is thesame for new pullets they may take a bit to figure outthe whole egging thing.

Rustler, I was curious about double barrel wood stoves since I had never heard of them. Looked them up and was wondering how the heat gets in the house? or do you put that ugly thing inside your house? LOL And it looks like it could heat a huge drafty barn. Doesn't your house get a little hot having that thing fully stoked? Seems like it would take forever to burn down. Didn't you say you only stoke it once at night? Also, do you have to be careful not to get it too hot? Would'nt the steel melt at some point? Just curious.
