Cree Farms, same people I got most of my Marans eggs (and now chicks) from. Very good stock!

Originally I got 15 Wheaten/Blue Wheaten eggs from her, but only 3 hatched, so I went back to buy sexed chicks. Well, she heard of my hatch rate and got me half my pullets for a GOOD price and then we got some of her spare cockerels as well.

Also she had one random Black Copper in that hatch, who is unsexed, so we nabbed it too.

Thats the bad think about having pets. we get so attached to them I know ya miss your parrot Buddy. We had a death here today too. My GSL that had the yeast infection. died this evening. She seem to be getting better everyday. I let the flock run today and put them back in the run at 6:30pm and put her back in the coop. my daughter went out at 7:20 to give her, her meds and she was dead.

Ron So sorry to hear about your GSL.

Sure wish I could get some relief from the back pain. Yesterday I was out trying to do some things and got down on the ground (stupid idea) and couldn't get up. I ended up crawling across the gravel then mud to get to the wood shed so I could pull myself up to my feet. Then had to call the house (100' away) to have DW bring my pig cane.

Yes I am now walking with the cane but hope that won't last too long. I have tried pain pills, muscle relaxers, anti inflamitories, hot shower and having DW rub icy hot, no relief. I may have to break down and go see if I can get the neighbor who is a message theropist work on me.

none of you guys are the person from auburn that i read about whos incubator caught a house on fire? it was a $900,000 house.
i hope its none of you guys.

near me, just this week. In East Wenatchee a persons chicken coop caught on fire when a duck knocked the heat lamp to the floor.... they all roasted.....

So in the interest of ending this "fire caused by chickens" headline. Could you all go and check your lamps and incubators?

Gosh I didnt hear about the Auburn person, I did hear that someone in Monroe had that happen.

I like Cree's birds, I have some of theres from last year and they are nice, than did get some this year last weekend and some eggs.
Lisa is a sweet heart..

Be careful with your back mine is still giving me problems and its been over two weeks. Going back to work tomorrow and hope I dont end up in bed again..

I have some Ameraucana hens I got from them last year also, nice birds it did take them for ever to start laying I hope you have a better start than I did. Got the chicks in with some of my BCM and the Marans started up first. I'll see what I can do with the pictures.

Oh went to your website nice but thought Id let you know that Crees Black Copper are Wade Jean line's not Bev Davis. Her others are Bevs line.

Is she wrong? . . Now I'm curious and confused. Since the beginning she's always told me she has both lines of BCs, and I've always chosen the Davis ones.

Oh Im sure she isnt wrong, just on her website it says Wade Jean for Black Copper but you know I dont know I just went from what her website said..
This is what I read Wade Jeane: Black Copper Bev Davis: Blue/ Splash, and Wheaten/ Blue Wheaten.
So now Im going to have to email her about last year birds LOL
I trust Lisa maybe the site hasnt been updated you just never know...
Poor thing is going to both of us asking again LOL.
