Sorry T Hi, that stinks! You can join Chickielady and myself with orders lost in the mail, however we both have missing eggs. Baby ducks are even worse!!!

My eggs again did not come in the mail and I missed the mailman. I still haven't heard back from my seller after I emailed him asking him to confirm exactly when he mailed them and if he had a tracking number. I feel a bit foolish going to the post office with nothing concrete. I couldn't catch my mailman today because I had to wait for the stupid dish network guy. I will try and catch him tomorrow and hopefully will have heard from my seller by then!

Hi everyone!! My name is Anita and I live in Snohomish, Washington and I am new to Backyardchickens.com. I have 15 chickens and I am addicted to them now!! I never knew I could love chickens this much!! Pips & Peeps did reply to Imp's question. This was her response:

The color; in most silver varieties of birds the male and female are different colors. The male being black with white hackles and saddles and the females are usually a brownish black with little to no white.

In easter eggers a young bird that is mostly black with white spots nine times out of ten is a cockerel.​

Well not a frustrating as your qwest for the elusive runner duck. When I decided to finally get chicks for the first time. Got my hopes up, had been scoping things out for a couple weeks. Walk into the feedstore, and NO CHICKS.

Asked what was going on, and the staff looked at me like I was an imp. Then said It's Easter, come back Wednesday.

& Ron I thought we were sworn to secrecy about Weave and the Dr.

BTW-Just had to run outside. As I'm typing I see a huge bird shadow on the neighbors house, landing on my roof. OMG, the eagle has landed. Was a Blue Heron eyeing my goldfish pond. Does Blue Heron taste good?

So now I try again and isn't it ______ & ______ that the next _____ I order eggs from is ripping me off and just to set me straight and give HER a few more days to rip US ALL OFF>>>>she called me and wanted to make sure I knew she would have to waite a few days to ship my eggs out....THAT WAY she could spider-in a few more people...and everyday she offered more chickens than she had before...and above it all was her e-mail addy : [email protected].
so once again I am so depressed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
