. . . I bought even MORE Quinoa for the free range pasture today. I'm obsessed.

The wheat is finally popping up though. . . . I just REALLY hope the goats, yak, or chickens don't wreck it before it is mature though!

Otherwise today was a decent day. Too cold and windy for my taste to work outdoors in though - Well, for the work my garden needed.

Otherwise, I exhausted myself with a LOT of wood hauling.

Boy, that happened to me 2X now, get some permenent pasture seed, and sowed weeks ago, and fenced off, and within a few days, the chooks have taken down an acre of pasture.
Now, they are working it into dirt.

City Chicken Coop Tour 2010
Take a tour of Seattle's unique urban livestock dwellings!

Did you know that Seattle has become known as a world-class city for chickens and urban livestock? We'll prove it!

This is your chance to visit folks who are keeping chickens, as well as goats and bees, right here in the city of Seattle. On July 10, you can take a look at how people are raising urban livestock and incorporating animals into their home landscape.

In this self-guided tour through Seattle neighborhoods, you will see simple coops built in an afternoon and elaborate houses that took weeks of planning and building.

Learn from seeing what your neighbors are doing. Ask questions about building coops and shelters, daily chores and other questions you have about keeping chickens or urban livestock. This tour might be the inspiration for you to build your dream coop or begin a fun and rewarding new hobby!

You will enjoy seeing the many creative arrangements people have developed in their urban yards and "urban homesteads".

I PM youd, but I really am sorry, Last year I orderd some BCM eggs from back east and the guy took for ever to send them not one hatched or even started so he send me more and I only got 2 from that. Had a friend who got from him and she had to fight to get her eggs for like 4 months.. He was on Eggbid..

I always tell people who get eggs from me to please let me know what happens, I know how it feels and want them to be happy.
I also tell them this when they get chicks from me and that I'll try to help if they have a rooster but I dont want them back..

Thankyou, I appreciate what you have said.
I am heartbroken about 3X now, and I am ferociously ticked off.
To a tune of over $100 not to mention here I am getting a second batoe ready.
And so worried that the eggs have been out so long~
And I was so happy to find a good breeder of the chickens so I would have a good roo....this jerk has stolen not only my money, but most of my dreams..so first gamebirdsonly sends me worthless eggs from the grocery store, then this...littlegreybantam is a thief.
And if not, where is her balls to stand up and defend herself ?

Sorry Chickielady. I also have not heard from my seller, even though he was posting here earlier this evening.

I emailed and PM'd him again. All I want him to do is confirm when he sent them...how hard is that to do? And give me a tracking # if he has one. At this point, I am starting to doubt that they have even been mailed. How can he post on here and not reply to a simple question????

I've got another broody out there! She's a black sex-link, amazingly enough. I'm thinking of giving her some eggs. She's been setting religiously for 2 days now. I might buy some cuckoo marans eggs from some guys near me (MZM Farms). I mentioned that to my husband and he says, "We have plenty of eggs. What do you need to buy them for??" I don't have any cuckoo marans. That's why! lol They also have silkies over there... Will just have to see. I've got a couple days to think. She's on some fake eggs right now.

So who is this lovely person who is ignoring you ?
I know how you feel, loosing it about the babies dying,,,one by one in a post office truck somewhere.
And I think these people think it is all funny, they just want our money and are preying on us.
How can we stop this ?
Little grey bantam has FALSE reviews, and not many of them, either.
Enough where she and her boyfriend, Scott falsified everything to look like she has been selling for years, and they even call to make sure it is OK if they send the eggs IN A FEW DAYS...that way they will be long gone and get more idiots to fallinto their trap before they go, and when I called them back, oh ho, they had a blocked number, wonder why ????????????????
Now she could be re rigistering right now under a different name, number.
