Yes, and how is she doing today ?
My broody BO was so superbroody you could wear her on your head like a hat and she would have just sat there in a trance !

So like usual, I log on too early or too late and no one is online but me !

We have not even finished the #2 henhouse for the 18 PBR's for eggs to sell...and the #1 henhouse needs a remodel...so now I need just a few lean to's...I have to go to the guinea site and look up best housing for them...But they won't hatch for 28 days, and won't get them for a week, so I have time

And still have the sore throat, exploding sinuses, hacking productive cough, and figured it was allergies, from pollen, not strept throat at all.
So, got allergy meds now~

I'm thinking of planting variegated climbing honeysuckle on the backside of the run. It has pretty leaves and awesome smelling flowers! Does anyone know if honeysuckle is ok for ducks?? I have searched online but haven't found anything and Storey's doesn't mention anything. '

Thanks that would be great. I also saw some for sale in the egg section on here so I PM that person too. I'm thinking I'll be ready to set in a week or so.

PS on the hatcheries. I used Murray McMurray a decade ago, and was happy with the birds I got. This past year I used Randall Burkey. I would definitely not use them again. I waited a long time and 1 chick was doa and in the first week all of the Black Sumatra chicks died one by one. Also the straight run chicks had a very high rate of males. So while they have a very nice catalog, I will not be shop there anymore. I am looking closer to home these days.

Well I need to go to Home Depot again and return all the stuff I bought on Monday. The bathroom tile is beginning to drive me crazy. This is like the second group of tiles that I have to return. I think I am going with the cream colored marble from Lowes now.

I just wish I could settle on something, and that all the pieces would be available to get the job done.

Uh, no they don't! They simply confuse people that Easter Eggers and Ameraucanas are the same thing - They show pictures of Ameraucanas, not Easter Eggers, and throw in both "Easter Egg chicken" and "Ameraucana" - Then they talk about them originating from chile, and only just having a tail and muffs and beard. . . Then go on about their different egg colors.

I've emailed Cackle Hatchery in specific about this, and they straight up denied having crossbreds. . . The guy told me that they "breed for the proper color" I even showed him and told him they don't, not a single EE they have goes to the APA recognized colors, and especially not the egg color. . . After that he didn't reply back.

I like Nature's Hatchery and My Pet Chicken because they actually separate "Easter Egger" and "Ameraucana" as two different types of chicken.

Big-R in Yakima has lots of Chuckar but I'm sure that is too far. I think they were $2.99 each or close to that. Should read LIVE chucker, not eggs, sorry for not puting that the first time.
