Zgoatlady, is your son a celiac ?
Does he have intestinal disease like Crohn's or Colitis ?
If he has disease then he has to eat correctly for that disease.
I am celiac, so cannot eat gluten, in any form, like MSG for example (mono-sodium-GLUTEMATE) and modified food starch, which can be rice, corn or wheat...really have to read labels, and never trust a fast food restaraunt !
Over and over I have been assured there was no wheat in a food, and there was.
The laws were passed years ago that ALL food is labeled as to allergy-producing substances (the big 8 allergy producers:wheat, shell fish, fin fish, eggs, dairy(Casein), peanuts, tree nuts, and one more that I cannot remember !!)
Darn it !!
So why did they remove the gall bladder ?
Did he have stones ?
Was he tested for celiac ?
Maybe he should stop eating wheat, and all glutens (including oats as they are often contaminated with wheat) for a while and see if it helps.
It really is not that hard to stop eating wheat.
My DH is stopping cigarettes...he has gone about 2 weeks now only sneeking one every few days, and he is a BEAR !!!!!!
Snapping and yelling, no pateince and half the time grumbling and complaining and mean !!!!
But he is doing it !
So happy about that, I told him to go throw furniture, yell, scream or whatever, just stop smoking !!!
He will not take Chantex or use the patches I got, so hopefully
, fingers crossed,
, he continues and stops !!!
