Wow I love the picture. I must say that I am partial to watercolors any way. Your daughter is very talented. You must be very proud of her.

OK one more notice that "Intro to Freezer Camp" is being held in Enumclaw this coming Saturday. It's free and drop in for however long you can stay. It will be from about 10 am until all the birds that are ready are done. Feel free to PM me for the address. We will be holding a second camp on either a Saturday or Sunday afternoon in the following week or two. Our phone is 360-802-3883

P.S. Rob: thank you for the solution to how to scald outside. I think I am going to chicken out this time around, but I just may take you up on the offer to borrow your Turkey fryer parts. (I think the pun was intentional)

If you really want to build an inc from scrap, make it BIG enough and use a "milk house heater" as your heat.
You can set the heat back n forth until you get it right, I have used it many times.
It is just like the ones you get from Walmart...with a thermostat on it, and set it til it is set !!!!!
Using a styrofoam ice chest or any thing styrofoam is asking for fire.

I actually have a small fridge that I am moving everything to, the ice-chest was just to see if I could manage to make it work before I went and destroyed a mini fridge

Zgoatlady, is your son a celiac ?
Does he have intestinal disease like Crohn's or Colitis ?
If he has disease then he has to eat correctly for that disease.
I am celiac, so cannot eat gluten, in any form, like MSG for example (mono-sodium-GLUTEMATE) and modified food starch, which can be rice, corn or wheat...really have to read labels, and never trust a fast food restaraunt !

Over and over I have been assured there was no wheat in a food, and there was.
sickbyc.gif

The laws were passed years ago that ALL food is labeled as to allergy-producing substances (the big 8 allergy producers:wheat, shell fish, fin fish, eggs, dairy(Casein), peanuts, tree nuts, and one more that I cannot remember !!)
sickbyc.gif

Darn it !!
So why did they remove the gall bladder ?
Did he have stones ?
Was he tested for celiac ?
Maybe he should stop eating wheat, and all glutens (including oats as they are often contaminated with wheat) for a while and see if it helps.
It really is not that hard to stop eating wheat.
My DH is stopping cigarettes...he has gone about 2 weeks now only sneeking one every few days, and he is a BEAR !!!!!!
Snapping and yelling, no pateince and half the time grumbling and complaining and mean !!!!
somad.gif

But he is doing it !
So happy about that, I told him to go throw furniture, yell, scream or whatever, just stop smoking !!!
He will not take Chantex or use the patches I got, so hopefully
, fingers crossed,

, he continues and stops !!!

Love the pictures so cute.

T Hi
Lucky you, my oldest son also does watercolor, and I would just cry when he would make me something. So were you going to hang it?
In the front room..

So no my son I dont think has been tested for celiac, I'll ask him. He has had a Upper and Lower GI done and they took biopsy (sorry for the spelling) they came back good. But he has had a blood test that said he was allergic to about 90% of the things we all eat.
Nick had all the sign of a bad gallbladder but when they did the test before he had it out everything said it was ok. But he asked to have it taken out. When I talked to him last night he said so far what he has eaten has been fine and he doesnt hurt from eating.

Hi, All!
We're in Seattle in a northern neighborhood called Pinehurst. We have 6 little chicks that are about 7.5 weeks old currently. We are raising backyard chickens for egg-laying purposes only. Is there anyone out there interested in our Gold-Laced Wyandotte cockerel? He's a nice little guy. We think it's quite possible at least one of our Easter Eggers is a cockerel as well. You can see pics of our posts or pics on our blog: pitterpatterpalace.spaces.live.com
Could we trade for one of your girls?

We'd be happy to keep them until they're a little bigger if you'd like. That is, before they crow. Lol!
