LASOMBRA If you are still looking for a hygrometer, Kaija's on state street in Chehalis has some. They do a lot of scaley critters (reptiles) and have supplies for them. I think the ones they had were hyg and therm for about $20 sum.

You are welcome.
I just cannot stress enough how you can have this disease, and never know it your entire life, until you get into your 40-50 y.o. and your body cannot take it anymore.
My Dad still teases me that I even had cavities in my baby teeth, like as if that was my fault.
It is just that the disease effects your entire body as you cannot absorb vitamins and nutrients well.
OK< moving on and ranting no more.
My kids blow this info off just like I did when I heard the diagnoses, even though my daughter has all the classic symptoms, she will not stop eating gluten.
We are having those small light brown Cuckoo eggs hatching right now, what was left after I tossed 4 clears a few days ago...and busy in the garden lately...

TGIF..

Was up late last night (11:30) finishing my quail cage. I came home and one of the poor little guys had one of his eyes literally pecked out. I'm waiting to see what the damage is, as he doesn't seem to be in unbearable pain. Therefore, we separated pairs last night, and they're going to have to get over it.

Can I ask a favor? Anyone who was interested in the pig roast on June 12th at Naughty Chickens Farm.. please send me a PM with your email so I can send out details? I'm slowly losing my mind. And I have multiple groups here trying to kill me slowly, no kidding.

No one interested in a half dozen or so turkey eggs then? I'm going to put them on CL tomorrow if not.

why didn't I think of kaija's??? lol. Thanks! I have a pip this morning, though. I think it must be OK in there, but too late anyway. $20 isn't bad. I'll have to get one next time I'm in town, in case I need one again next time... and a second thermometer also

hehe, not much has happened. I got up this morning and no change... but just before I took the boys to the bus stop, I told them I'd heard peeps and my eldest, Joey, ran and looked in the bater. Lo and behold, there was a pip! So I have at least one good egg in there!

Cool !
And remember (like I learned the hard way) that we here in W WA have high humidity, and often it soars to 70-80% or more !
It is lower lately as we have had sun, so less is more...if there is dew drops on the bator windows, there is too much..
Good luck !!!!!
I am off to the garden again, and I have alot of pipping going on as well.
I also want to take some pictures of my BSM's that hatched last week...they are blue, black and splash.
They are they cutest chicks, and so quiet and refined, thinking and mellow...compared to the PBR chicks that are agressive and sem hyper...
Later with pictures.
