DD has a science fair project to do this spring. She wants it to involve chickens. We have an incubator and she was thinking she wanted to hatch chicks, but I'm not so keen on that; I really do not need another chicken!

She has a T-shirt that has on it: "I love chickens, they know EVERYTHING!" I got to thinking; maybe she can train some of our bantam roosters to run through obstacle courses; it would give her a project and the little roos something to do to earn their keep.

Can it be done? Has anyone tried it?

I will be shopping for a deathrow dog that does not cost a fortune when my pup passes away. due to my hearing/sight I have to have a dog with me when I sleep.... or you could have a party in my bedroom and I'd never know.

Rainwolf, I just got this mental picture of the DOG having a big party in your bedroom and you never knowing.

OK I need a little help (OK maybe more than just a little ). I need a few "special" "T" shaped straight pins. Like the ones used in biology when dissecting critters. I only need 3. I am going to make a display of bees for educational purposes.

They sell those at the store too.

FYI I have some things going on which may keep me from being on much for a few days. This is for the most part good stuff. See I have a friend who also does metal work and who's things I have been selling. Well Steve called me and ask if I would come help him make some of these little chicks to sell. It's a win win deal we are making lots of them preparing for an Easter rush. Steve already sold 25 to a local mini mart type store and expects to get them in more places. We also plan to have them in our booth March 31 at the Community yard sale (SWW fair). I should also have some at Stevenson and Canby.
This is very good for me right now since he is paying me to make them and I am working in his shop (that is warmer than my work area consisting of a tin roof). He supplies all the materials and equipment. He also buys lunch (fast food) and brings it to the shop.
We made 65 of these in the last 2 days.
Does it get much better get paid to do something I enjoy so much?
