thats funny I am having pork steaks and some chicken stock rice lol

Ha ha Pork is on sale now !! I got 2 BIG BUTT roast a few days ago, bone in, for $1.45 # cannot beat that with a stick.
It makes so many meals !
DH loves the roast first cooked, the next day we have Cinncinati style loose meat sammiches with sweet bells and the next day toss on some barbicue sauce & have barbie sanmmich or makeenchiladas, tamales or tacos.
Bone goes to the dog...which he LOVES.

JB- This has been bugging me. What is in your avatar pic? My eyes are fuzzy... is it a bouvier? Or did I just insult your kids?

You have too try much harder to offend me. The avatar is a picture of our new to us Black Russian Terrier year old puppy looking out the window He wanted to see what my DH was doing outside. Jet is a very busy dog, and he is a thinker. Sometimes I wish he was dumber than he is. He can be a handful. I must say that I keep looking at the avatar picture and think that it kind of looks like a person in a costume.

As for my people kids, I made them go away.

The Boy left just over 6 years ago. Now they can come and visit for awhile, and then I can send the kids home with their respective spouses. It is funny to get calls from my DD about her dogs, and how much that they are like feuding toddlers.

Come to think of it he does look like a black bear. The old dog looked like a polar bear, so this must mean that I don't really want a dog. I really need to get me a couple of bears. A bear shouldn't be any more trouble than a pet Norwegian Snow Kitty.

But why all the nasty little dogs ? What does that say ? You really like groundhogs, squirrels or some other small member of the rodent family ? Or ???????????

Hope everyone has a wonderful day. I know everyone is a busy bee getting ready for the monroe show.... I am bummed I wont be able to make it. I am gonna try to make it to Stevenson... Might only get to make it on that sunday tho. Anyway I wish you all luck with your birds but most of all have fun and enjoy each other company.

Oh just an update. My cornish hen that got pecked in the head yesterday is doing good. Eatting and drinking well... Her feathers are all stained red but she is gonna be in the freezer next weekend anyways.

Well this may have been answered since I am way behind. BUT I would say it would really not be much worth the drive since things break up pretty early on Sunday. In Oct I had all my stuff loaded and was ready to leave by about noon. And it takes me a while to load.

G'night everyone - going to go make some chow now. Rabbit AGAIN! Make himself sick of it, I will. Then he'll stop all the breeding stuff. Not enough freezer space. "Eat big stuff", he says.

Oh well, almost got the tax stuff done today, finish tomorrow and then can . . . what day is it? Are we getting a weekend soon? Hmm. . . must be getting old . . .

If I don't get back on again before Monroe, have a good time everyone, I'll miss you all, I know it's going to be quiet here. Hey, did T Hi every get her computer? She hasn't been on lately.
